Upon starting her academic career at Choseon University, she was hired by Korean KBS World Drama & Entertainment as part of the Stage Design Team. As part of this team, Kaae made contributions to Korean Dramas and Films including Forbidden Love, Love, Ride Away, and a Hollywood film called Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon.

Kaae then continued her studies at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a scholarship in Fine Art sculpture. She receives inspiration from her experiences living in different countries as well as learning about and appreciating various cultures and people. She incorporates many different types of mediums while utilizing oriental and western artistic techniques to create a unique style.
